Elizabeth is an award-winning, published photographer, and wildlife guide, with a passion for documenting visuals that inspire curiosity about our connections to the natural world.

As the daughter of Oaxacan artist, Elizabeth has been immersed in art and nature from a young age. With a diverse background in STEM Education, Media Communications, Zookeeping, and Fine Art Photography, Elizabeth brings a unique, multifaceted perspective to her craft.

As a former STEM Educator and Media Communications Director, Elizabeth has experience designing engaging curricula and producing compelling visual media campaigns. Her background as a Zookeeper and Adventure Photographer gives her a distinctive perspective on wildlife conservation photography.

She focuses on capturing the essence of the environment and its inhabitants with each photograph, from the icy wilderness of Alaska to the rugged beauty of the Grand Canyon, and the biodiverse beauty of Costa Rica and Southeast Asia.

Her visual stories showcasing the fast-paced, demanding lifestyle of those devoted to the outdoors have been featured in outlets such as the LA Times and Rova Adventure magazine.

Her fine art mixed media work earned her the 2019 Hanna S. Barsam Excellence in Photography Award. Her work has been exhibited at Spectrum Art Gallery and its satellite exhibitions, Fresno City College, and local businesses. Elizabeth is currently working on a mixed media show coming in the summer of 2024.
